Passiflora is traditionally used for the management of anxiety, and at least one study verifies its effectiveness (Akhondzadeh et al., 2001). L-theanine is a unique amino acid present almost exclusively in the tea plant (Camellia sinensis). Theanine increases alpha brain wave activity, a sign of induced relaxation. Melatonin is the recognized hormone of sleep, present here in a light dose. Together, these act synergistically to support the beneficial effects of the Sleep Aide formula. Sleep Aide provides safe, natural support to calm the central nervous system and encourage restful, refreshing sleep.

 

Recommended Dosage:

1-3 capsules 15-30 minutes before bed, or as directed by your healthcare professional.

 

Target Client:

Men or women who need support getting a good night's sleep. B complex, calcium, or magnesium may be needed to address deficiencies. Kava Extract (page 52) is also recommended for occasional use if the client is prone to more serious anxiety.
